Our selflubricating NYLONIT-slidebearings are today in use, as replacements for bearings in metal, bronze and normal plastic materials, in a variety of different applications in the fields of fine-mechanics, furniture, packaging machines, transport-equipment, forklift-trucks, pallet-lifters, vehicles, agricultural machines, etc.

Some of the advantages of NYLONIT-bearings are:

MINIMUM FRICTION / ZERO-MAINTENANCE:

Millions of bearings are today still in use after decades of operation.For extra-low friction, the bearings can be “lubricated” with grease, oil, water or other liquids.The friction-coefficient on a dry surface can be reduced furthermore by applying a drop of grease/oil at fitting.

LONGER LIFETIME / SHOCK-DAMPING / NO GALVANIC CORROSION

NYLONIT-bearings last up to 5 times longer than i.e. bronze-bearings, since they do not wear out due to vibrations or galvanic corrosion.

MINIMUM HUMIDITY-ABSORPTION / CONSISTENT DIMENSIONS

A NYLONIT-bearing, with a thickness of 2,5 mm, will at the most vary in size with 0,007 mm, when running constantly dry or in water.

EXCELLENT SHOCK-RESISTANCE / CORROSION-PROOF

NYLONIT-bearings offer very high shock-resistance, even at – 40oC, resisting water, oils and many other chemicals such as solvents and fuels.
